Turbo is the English name of turbocharging. Generally speaking, if we see Turbo or T in the rear of a car, it means that the engine used in the car is a turbocharged engine. I believe that we have seen many such models on the road, such as Audi A6 1.8T, Passat 1.8T, Bora 1.8T and so on. The main function of turbocharging kit is to increase the intake of the engine, so as to improve the power and torque of the engine and make the car more powerful. When an engine is equipped with a turbocharger, its maximum power can be increased by 40% or even higher than when it is not equipped with a turbocharger. This means that the same engine can generate more power after supercharging. Take our most common 1.8T turbocharged engine for example, after turbocharging, the power can reach the level of 2.4L engine, but the fuel consumption is not much higher than that of 1.8 engine. On another level, it is to improve fuel economy and reduce exhaust emissions. However, after turbocharging, the pressure and temperature of the engine at work are greatly increased, so the life of the engine will be shorter than that of the engine without turbocharging with the same displacement, and the mechanical and lubricating properties will be affected, which also limits the application of turbocharging technology in the engine to a certain extent. It uses the high temperature and high pressure of exhaust gas to drive the exhaust gas turbine to rotate at high speed. It can drive the intake turbine to compress the intake air and improve the air density. At the same time, the computer controls to increase the fuel injection volume and cooperate with the high density intake. Therefore, it can improve the working efficiency of the engine under the condition of constant exhaust volume. Simply put, the waste is reused, the exhaust is introduced into the turbine working group, and then the pressure is changed to form a pressure difference and increase the working pressure of the engine. Because the exhaust gas turbine is driven by exhaust gas, it does not start at the bottom of the engine speed (standby speed). As long as the engine speed is enough (usually more than 1500 rpm), turbo starts to work and continues to work above the starting speed range.
